Alabama Humanities Fellow featured in state media celebration

This is Alabama, a statewide media focus on celebrating the great state of Alabama and uncovering the amazing people, places and experiences she has to offer, profiled Alabama Humanities Fellow Nimrod T. Frazer in its Oct. 1 edition.

The feature ran in all three of Alabama’s major daily newspapers, Birmingham News, Mobile Press Register and Huntsville Times as well as online at al.com and at thisisalabama.org.

The following day, Frazer was inducted into the inaugural class of Alabama Humanities Fellows. In September, This is Alabama featured another inaugural fellow, best-selling author Cassandra King in its Voices piece she authored about the wealth of stories to be found and told in Alabama.

Frazer is retired CEO and Chairman Emeritus of Enstar Group, based in Montgomery.

“We are honored by the media attention our new concept of Alabama Humanities Fellows is getting across the state,” said AHF Executive Director Armand DeKeyser. “This highly respected group will help tremendously in furthering our work to promote, advocate and expand access to the humanities in every corner of Alabama.”
