AHF speaker featured in national Humanities magazine
Stewart McLaurin
McLaurin, an Alabama native, was the keynote speaker at Alabama Humanities Foundation’s annual Humanities Awards Luncheon in October in Birmingham.
At the luncheon, McLaurin talked of the White House as a living museum and shared a series of anecdotes about its storied history.
Some of those are included in the Humanities story. To read about McLaurin and his work, go to: https://www.neh.gov/humanities/2017/winter/feature/the-white-house-historical-association-tells-the-saga-living-museum
